The fantail (piwakawaka in Maori) is a pretty and inquisitive little bird who has become a favourite among New Zealanders and visitors alike. Easily recognisable by its long tail feathers which open up to form the shape of a fan. An energetic flyer it flitters very quickly between foliage and will often follow you on a bush walk or accompany you in a garden setting.

The Fantail pendant shows the wingspan of the fantail in flight with a petite drop of New Zealand Greenstone representing the two middle tail feathers.

Hand carved and crafted in 9ct Yellow Gold, this pendant is suspended from a fine 9ct Yellow Gold chain.
