About this piece

The New Zealand Longfin Eel (Tuna in Maori) is endemic to our waters and is one of the largest eels in the world. During their life they can grow up to two meters long and in some cases live up to 60-80 years old. Unfortunately the population of the very large sized Eels is declining.

They are mysterious, secretive creatures who are usually nocturnal although most New Zealanders have had encounters with them during daylight hours.

The Sterling Silver Eel Ring is a wide band and chunky design. The Eel lovingly wraps itself around your finger.

Hand carved and crafted this piece is finished with a classic Steph Lusted Jewellery high polish finish (two images above). Also available to order with a textured/matt finish (also shown above). Choose from the dropdown menu.
