About this piece

This is a dramatic theatrical piece to be worn either as a Brooch or Necklace. Thinking of both famous theatre and early film stars of yesteryear, Sarah Bernhardt comes to mind. Suitably worn either high on a collar under the chin or adorning the side pocket of a jacket, this is a stunning brooch/Necklace which will certainly invoke conversation.

Only two Brooches of this same design have been created.

This makes this piece two of a kind.
This is the White Pearl version which features a Full Moon carved from White Mother of Pearl Shell. Across the shell moon flys x3 Bats, crafted in Sterling Silver with Moonstones set into their bellies using 18ct yellow gold as the settings. The snake wraps itself around the base of the moon where a large White Pearl is suspended from it's jaws. This piece can also be worn with the Sterling Silver chain to be enjoyed as a Necklace.

Superbly crafted from start to finish this is an exceptional Brooch/Necklace for the jewellery connoisseur.

Like all SLJ items this piece was hand carved and finished by Steph Lusted's own hands in her central Wellington Workshop in New Zealand.
